The Challenge
Our production company was contracted by Nullker to film a Zoom-based interview on sustainable design, recorded remotely from Brookgreen Gardens. The project required coordinating production schedules between South Carolina, USA and Europe, while filming from a botanical garden with limited and inconsistent internet connectivity. Managing time zone differences and ensuring broadcast-quality reliability in a remote outdoor setting presented clear technical and logistical hurdles.
Our Solution
To create a seamless interview experience, we bonded multiple internet sources—combining cellular data with the park’s available Wi-Fi—to ensure a stable Zoom connection. Our team also adjusted work hours, spending a few late nights coordinating with international partners to guarantee clear communication and smooth execution. Careful pre-production planning and on-site troubleshooting allowed us to maintain professional quality despite the unconventional location.
The Results
The interview was successfully recorded and delivered with a clean, uninterrupted viewing experience, capturing both the beauty of the gardens and the depth of the conversation. Hosted by Leyla Gulen, the final piece became part of an enlightening series on sustainable design, demonstrating our ability to manage complex remote productions under real-world constraints.
